The English subtitles for the play presented by the ÖVSV as part of its 100th anniversary celebrations, held on September 21, 2026, are now available.

We share a press release about SlowscanTV.com, an international platform that automatically brings together Slow Scan Television (SSTV) images received by radio amateurs and listening stations around the world.

From 6 to 8 November 2026, the special event station EG1PR – PRESURA Radio will be on the air from Burgos, Spain, during the tenth edition of PRESURA, Spain’s National Fair dedicated to the repopulation of rural areas.
Organised by URE Burgos and URASO – Unión de Radioaficionados de Soria, the initiative will bring Amateur Radio to the event, inviting operators from Spain and around the world to contact the special station and take part in the PRESURA Radio Award.
Through these radio contacts, the project aims to spread the PRESURA message beyond Spain’s geographical borders and highlight the importance of rural communities and their future.
The activity is also part of the “183 Municipalities of Soria on the Air” project.

Broadcasting on the occasion of the 900th anniversary of the first written mention of Jaromer

On the occasion of the 900th anniversary of the first written mention of Jaromer, three special call signs OL900CO, OL900JAR, OL900LTV and some other stations will be activated. At the same time, four electronic diplomas (bronze, silver, gold, and platinum) will be issued in electronic form for contacts with these stations and other activators.

The activator stations will be active from April to December 2026, and the above-mentioned diplomas can also be obtained for contacts made during this period. All details and conditions for obtaining the diplomas can be found on the website www.hamawards.eu
